Pier Park restaurant marks the franchisee’s 20th Florida location of the brand known for serving classic American fare in a vintage service-station-like setting
PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (Sept. 23, 2024) – Local lovers of American car culture and comfort food can now savor the experience seaside at Ford’s Garage, which opened a new location in Pier Park South at 601 S. Pier Park Drive, Suite 103. Guests have a perfect view from the Ford’s Garage patio, which joins the vibrant assortment of restaurants, stores and attractions in the open-air mall at the far-west end of Panama City Beach.
Ford’s Garage has engineered a unique niche in the restaurant industry, combining mouth-watering meals with an engaging atmosphere. With branding and memorabilia exclusively licensed by the Ford Motor Company, it creates the look and feel of a 1920s service station. The décor includes vintage vehicles, fixtures and gas pumps, with accessories like napkins made from blue shop towels, bathroom sinks that resemble tires and fuel pump nozzles that are used as faucets. To complete the effect, servers wear mechanic shirts.
The restaurant is owned by 23 Restaurant Services, which is the brand’s largest franchisee with 20 Florida locations.
“The Ford’s Garage brand has really revved up over the last several years, and we’re proud to open our twentieth location in Florida,” said Marc Brown, president of 23 Restaurant Services.
Guests are urged to leave their appetites on empty so they can fuel up on a hearty menu of classics customized by Ford’s Garage. Burgers are made with Black Angus beef and are also available in a vegetarian option. They are served with all-natural aged cheeses, fresh toppings and flavorful sauces on artisan buns branded with the Ford’s Garage logo. The satisfying selection of burgers includes the unique Burgers of Fame, named after influential individuals and organizations in the community.
Panama City locals will recognize many honorees on the restaurant’s Burgers of Fame menu, including Police Chief Eusebio Talamantez Jr., Fire Chief Ray Morgan, WMBB Chief Meteorlogist Ross Whitley, First City Manager Richard Jackson and more.
In addition to its lineup of burgers, the restaurant specializes in American comfort food like homemade meatloaf, chicken wings and tenders, onion rings and macaroni & cheese. Lighter fare such as fresh salads, grilled chicken and various seafood options are available as well. Guests can top off their meal with milkshakes, sundaes and other sweet rides. The restaurant serves wine, cocktails and non-alcoholic options as well as a large selection of beers, including drafts, with an emphasis on local breweries.
Ford’s Garage Pier Park in Panama City Beach accomodates 220 guests inside and 60 on the patio. Pick-up is available. The restaurant is open Monday -Thursday 11AM-10PM, Friday 11AM-11PM, Saturday 10:30AM – 11PM, and Sunday 10:30AM – 10PM.
